First, a bit about “Musings”.
Musings has been within spirit for quite some time. Slowly brewing in the cauldron of thoughts and feelings, developing into form over its’ own coarse of time. Obviously, I did try to rush things a bit with the introductions of a couple off-site blogs and just as obvious, were the results that they simply did not belong to the path of inner spirit. They were a part of CastleSolitudeArts, though quite distant in many ways.
“thoughts, news, information and ramblings…” the quickly stated header insight about Musings. In reality, many topics will eventually evolve as children from those four words. Some of the catagories already brewing are: witchcraft-wiccan-pagan-news-astrology-tarot-runes and more. Hence, there will be plenty of growth over the coming age and time.
And, if you are one who acknowledges labels upon people and things, I suppose the best one for Musings would perhaps be “pagan”. This may define itself a bit more if you happen to read the quips about myself. Musings is an extension of CastleSolitudeArts spirit path as I have long known within spirit that an area for deeper pagan community interaction was meant to be so on the website. Some other possibilities were considered over time and perhaps one or two may yet evolve…perhaps. But my inner spirit says Musings time is now.

About myself:

“Solitudeone” has been my public/internet name for a good number of mortal ages now. In ways, it speaks of my spiritual lifestyle, my “path”, if you wish. There is no real label for my path in so far as the ones people hear everyday. So as internet visibility became more widely known, I adopted the phrase of “Witch of Old” as a label for those who needed one. My lifestyle, (practice), spans nearly 44 mortals ages (years) now. The ways of this “lifestyle” are several thousands of years old. Which is about as much as the general pubic will know of.

I am a witch. And before your labels and imposed concepts kick in, I am of the male species.  And this is perhaps a good time and place to include a bit of a disclaimer: “All writings and views expressed within Musings are of my own and obviously will not reflect the opinions and views of others.”

Amidst the many, I believe in and practice what is known as “nuda veritas”, translation: naked truth. I respect and honor the Spirit of Truth in all things. Although a very old part of practice, nuda verites became popularized in 1899 with a painting by that name from the artist Gustav Klimt (1862-1918). The painting itself had references to both Fraudian and Jungarian philosophies of the time. (those being of subjective and objective view points of truth and realities. *best left for another subject* ) Anyway, if you have a question, ask. If I give an answer, it will be in Truth.

CastleSolitudeArts was born from my inner spirit path and has its’ definitive coarse of destiny, which is not openly discussed. You will find within Musings, links to other sites connected to CastleSolitudeArts. Such as the off-sites of the pagan shop, the pagan toplist and even a deviantArt gallery.
